Arnie, gesture/attitude when he was subbed
|
Seemed to suggest he wasn’t injured or expected to come off, what do you think, off this month?

I think he did a “U” sign with his hand meaning he’s off to Man Utd.
Cunt.

He's cup-tied now, so can't see any of the bigger English clubs wanting him.

Bad sub if he wasn’t injured.
Yeah we won the game, and Carroll scored, but it certainly fucked our momentum up when he came off.
Nasri was pointing to his back, and putting fingers up to the gaffer. I assumed it was him that was injured at the time. That must have been the reason that the manager subbed him.

No different from Di Canio when he was ever subbed or things weren't going his way he would sulk or throw his arms in the air.
It's what mavericks are like. He will start against Arsenal next week, probably score and make a point to the bench that he is irreplaceable.

Players never want to come off. I trust Pellers.

Would rather him have the hump and sit there moodily watching than I would him trot off smiling and sit there laughing and joking with team mates not interested in the game.

It was weird. Nasri kept signaling to the bench that Arnie needed to come off because of his back. Nobody communicated with Arnie at all and they just took him off. He went down the tunnel but came back out after a shower. He then watched the second half upstairs and stayed until the end.

Just watched Pellegrini's post match interview on skysports and Arnie's substitution was the correct thing to do imo as he complained of a slight back problem before the game and had also recently come back from an injury, good decision Pellers.

I love Arnie but he should never do shit like that whether it was a mistake bringing him off or the correct thing to do should not come into it he is our Golden boy and needs to be protected the Pel makes the decisions.

If he was off to Man U as some have suggested, Pelle would have kept him on the pitch and not given a shit about his 'twinge'.
He did the right thing. And Arnie being pissed off is a positive sign, not a negative one.

He'd got his goal, we were pretty comfortable in the match, and Pellegrini was confident we'd win without him, which is why I think maybe he was yanked early, or at least earlier than he might have thought he would be.
No need to risk the star man, especially with him coming back from injury, clearly already up to speed form-wise and the Arsenal game coming up.

Good move.
Arnauntovic was great taking the team on his shoulders when we were steering clear of relegation, but if our goals are loftier, he has to be willing to not be the one and only man a lot of the time.
